4. Proj. Description：

This project is based on UOP Tatoray basic design spec, by using Toluene and carbon aromatic hydrocarbon as raw material and non-equalize and transalkylation process to produce high quality mixed xylene. This revamping will convert the fluidized bed catalyst production to fixed process; also increase the daily process production of toluene and hydrocarbon from 620/128 KL to 840/500 KL. The project consists of detailed Engineering, Purchasing, Construction (EPC) and dismantle/install of the existing facility and equipments/ instruments. The main items are two (2) reciprocating hydrogen compressors (1,100HP), one (1) centrifugal hydrogen compressor (1,926HP) and one (1) fixed bed catalyst reactor with other main equipments as listed below. Total weight for dismantle and newly installed steel structure and equipments at existing TCC building is approximately 3,000 tons. The photo at right hand top shows the current installation of the reactor on higher layer and the reciprocating compressors at ground level of TCC building. Meanwhile the centrifugal compressor is installed at ground level shelter as shown on left hand top photo.
