1. Proj. Name：SRU Tail Gas Emission Revamping Facilities Turnkey Project

2. Client：Tao-yuan Refinery of CPC Corp., Taiwan

3. Proj. Period：Oct. 2015∼Nov. 2016

4. Proj. Description：

This project is to comply with environmental regulation requirements of air pollution control and focus on abnormal operation during startup/shutdown and de-sulfur process of SRU #2 & #3 of Refinery Section II, Tao-yuan Refinery.  After installing a tail gas treatment facilities, which will be able to reduce SO₂ emission concentration and minimize odor smell in air, it can be expected to create a better environmental air quality.  By those revamping facilities, the high concentration of 1% SO₂ content in tail gas will be scrubbed by caustic soda solution and the emission of SO₂ concentration shall be decreased to ≦50ppmv, and also the Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) of Waste Water effluent from the facilities shall be limited less than 1,000vppm.

◆  Reverse Jet Scrubber x 1 Unit (Incl. 316L Absorption Vessel, AL6XN Upper Inlet Barrel,

316L Lower Inlet Barre, 8” SiC Reverse jet Nozzles, Froth Column、Chevron Demister,

Sparging System of Oxidation Air).

◆  Scrubber Circulation Pump(Alloy 20) x 2 sets, Liquid Caustic Pump (316L) x 2 sets

◆  FRP Liquid NaOH Tank x 1 set.

◆  Flue Gas Shutoff Valve w/Steam Jacket x 4 sets (ANSI Class V / IP65).

◆  Effluent Filter and Piping System w/different kinds of Material.

◆  Civil Foundation, Steel Structure, Operation Platform, Dike and Acquisition of Government

Permits and Construction License Aapplication.

◆  Dismantle/Re-install Existing Culvert, Reconstruct of Collecting Sump/Retain Wall, and

Recover the Existing Side Slope/ Paving / Ditch.

◆  Instruments Incl. Control Valves, Radar Wave Liquit L/T, Magnetic Flow Meter, D/P

Density Transmitter, PH Analyzer, and  Thermometer/ Pressure Gauge, etc.

◆  Power Equipment Incl. MCC Panel, Site Explosion-proof Lighting Fixture, Grounding,

Communication, Power Cable and Conduit, Site Switching Station.
