4. Proj. Description:
Wastewater will be transferred from the existing monitoring pond of
wastewater treatment unit Tao-yuan Refinery to the PP fiber filtering
equipment by newly mounted submersible pumps for filtration. The suspended
solid (SS) shall be
≦10
mg/L or
>80%
relative removal rate to comply with the treated wastewater quality standard
with the total throughput of 10,000CMD. The filtered effluent will be
derived through pipe to new filtered water storage tank. Then drain by
gravity flow into the existing discharge pond. A provision nozzle shall be
mounted at the bottom of filtered water storage tank for future connection
and recycle use. The backwash water of the PP fiber filtering equipment is
piped to newly backwashing wastewater storage tank. Then it’s pumped by
backwashing wastewater transfer pumps to existing No. 4 aeration pond for
treatment. Additionally a provisional nozzle shall be mounted on the
backwashing wastewater transfer pipe for future connection to the No. 5
wastewater puddle treatment use.
The PP fiber filtering equipment is also equipped with chemical wash system.
The wastewater after chemical washing will be pumped through chemical wash
wastewater transfer pumps to discharge to existing wastewater buffer storage
tank of A720 & A730 for temporary storage.
