Client:CPC
Lin-Yuan Petrochemical plant
3.
Proj. Period:Apr.
2017∼Jan.
2018
4. Proj. Description:
This project is intended to solve the environmental issue during the massive
flare vented to the existing No.4 N.C. elevated flare stack of Lin-Yuan
Petrochemical plant CPC, as a result to revamp the old flare tip and its
related piping and control system. The newly installed 72”∮
flare tip is capable to handling the
max. flaring capacity up to 980,000kg/hr. In the amount of steam supply
capacity reaching 63,674kg/hr@6.9 Bar(G),
its smokeless operational flow rate can be raised up to the Max. flaring
amount of
160,000 kg/hr, and
the measuring noise value is less than
80 dBA
at the specified noise measurement point
Q4N1. In addition
to retaining the traditional FFG ignition method, an electronic (manual /
automatic) ignition system is added. During the flaring rate varied it can
be synchronized to adjust the steam supply in order to saving steam
consumption. To achieve automate and optimize smokeless flaring operations,
the entire smokeless operation is under DCS automatic control.
